BEWARE: ABSORBING NOT PRACTICING
SpeedMBA is a seminar, not a training course. You will absorb MUCH content, but will not apply it in exercises. We just don’t have the time. I even discourage questions (save them for the end of the day), because of time limits. It may seem dull and heavy having to listen all day long. But the day really flies by fast because of the continuous learning, the diversity of topics and the relaxed presentation style (see reviews).
BEWARE: DENSE SLIDES
SpeedMBA comes by way of PowerPoint slides that Should Not Exist according to presentation experts: lots of text, limited visualization, many messages, little repetition. Why?! The slide deck is also your reference book, so you need to feel familiar with that. See it as a study book that you finish in just one day. Nobody has a problem with it in practice.
BEWARE: HIGH INTENSITY!
This is NOT a laid-back seminar. Extensive examples and anecdotes are sacrificed, for the sake of bringing you “the whole and all” of business. Most trainers claim that people cannot concentrate for more than 20 minutes, nor could they handle a lot in general. My premise is the opposite: you can handle a lot, and you WANT to get a lot! That’s what you’re going to get. So stay sharp all day, for the most intensive seminar you ever had.
BEWARE: BREADTH, NOT DEPTH
In order to give you the WHOLE scope of business, we won’t go into details. The seminar gives you the essence/basics of all of it, rather than particular elaborations or tips & tricks. That said, you will get many practical ideas from application of it all in your head.
